Tonight is the Crafty Day Christmas Potluck Party! When we bought our house, my friends would come once a week and make things together. Now, years later, some of us are married or have kids or have fancy jobs that keep us busy or have moved away, but we try to get together a few times a year to laugh and eat together. I am so dang excited to see these beauties!
I am so excited to get to work on this cabin portrait! I am making progress, slowly but surely. The holidays (and a 2 year old) make productivity hard to come by, but I am doing my best :)

These leaf suncatchers and angel ornaments were a custom christmas order. The glass came from the client’s parents’ house and she brought it to me with these in mind. They are heading under the Christmas tree today!

There should be a minimum age for social media. It would probably decrease the prevalence of child suicides

I told Jared the other day that the only time I felt 100% confident in myself and my abilities is when I’m singing. No one questions me on why I chose to do it that way and I have a person’s undivided attention while doing it. Jubi is never still or quiet, but when I rock her before sleep and song, she is both. I feel powerful then.
